or is it a girl thing? there's a guy on some commercial on tv now that reminds me of Michael Jackson (i can't remember what it's selling, but it's 2 guys putting sugar in their coffees - one has an awful time of it, and the other giggles at him), but i haven't noticed any guys on the street that i think have been worked on.

Celebrities obviously get plastic surgery.

Yes, just find some before and after they were famous photos of some Korean celebrities. They hardly look anything like their pics from middle/high school...men and women. Of course, guys here have plastic surgery. Some of them also think they need to diet with a 32 inch waist. A 32 inch waist is small for a guy, but some of the ones I have talked to think they should diet.

I understand plastic surgury is big here. They will even laser off your moles and any irregularities. I sure would like the moles lasered off, but don't understand how to get in a place to have it done. I understand it's only 5000 won per mole.

A lot of the boy band girly-guys get the bridge of their nose raised... to look more western, I guess... or maybe so their glasses stop falling off their faces... Asians look pretty funny with western noses, if you ask me. I'm grateful for the laughs they provide.

Penile surgery. Or at least that's what it appeared to be at the sauna the other night. Like some kind of O-ring was installed near the head, but the rest of it was skinny. I try not to look too much in general, but that was just freaky looking. I'm sure there will be a few wise cracks, but anyone else seen that?

My girlfriend is a nurse at a plastic surgery clinic.

There are almost as many male patients as female patients. Mostly for double eyelid surgery and nose jobs.

A friend of mine works at some kind of targeted fat loss clinic too. Basically, they inject needles into a body area and fat will be lost from it. Just as many male customers as female customers too apparently.
