My mate is in hospital, having broken her leg on the way to work.
In Japan everyone is covered by this insurance whilst at work AND whilst commuting. Is it the same here?
Anyone with any experience of making a claim or can post a link to the guidelines?

P.S. You can claim under this scheme in Japan even if your employer doesn't bother to pay it for you. Job related accidents are not technically covered by the NH scheme, but the accident insurance covers 100% of costs and compensation for long term illness/injury. |
