Hopefully this won't be mod-locked because it *does* deal with a more general issue, but I need an answer fast and travel forum is slow, so, here goes...
So, I just went to Unique travel in Itaewon to get a guesstimate of how much Thailand tix will be for Feb and got hit with a bombshell...more than 120,000 won in taxes and gas taxes for a 450,000won TICKET!!!!
That blew my mind. Called my gf and she confirmed that news reports were floating around saying that as of Jan 1st prices would be hiked but...but...this is smacking of highway robbery.
That said, what agencies do you guys recommend as being the *flat out* cheapest consistently.
Help super appreciated. |

I just purchased a ticket (2 days ago) to the Philippines and I'm paying 20,000won more than what I paid for in April '07. Not Thailand, but...
Also, I usually use whypaymore.co.kr - cheapest rates I can find without too many hassles. |

mmm...is that the site? I just put it in, and I'm getting a page missing. Also, I called their number and got the fax-machine blast. |

Hmmm, you're right. Something fishy is going on with them at the moment...
Sorry if I misled in my post; I've very often used whypaymore, but didn't for my last ticket to the Phils - I went directly with Cebu Pacific...
