So I am relatively new at all this and this is actually my first post. I've been researching teaching abroad (especially Korea) for months upon months and I'm ready to take the plunge. I have a colleague in the Daegu area who is leaving Korea soon and suggested this locale.

My question is: Does anyone know any really reputable schools in the Daegu area? Or Busan? I've been thinking that I should go directly to the school and try to bypass the whole recruiter thing. I don't have anything against using a recruiter, it's more or less I don't know which ones to use and which ones are truly reputatable. It seems like these boards suggest a reputable recruiter is an oxymoron.

For that matter, if I do get swayed towards a recruiter which I already have submitted some materials to. Any suggestions on a some good ones that you guys have had positive experiences with?

Thanks for the help and I apologize if this a type of post that always gets in here. I'm not up to date on the standard protocol of the forum, in time I will be though. PM if you like.

ESL Planet is a good recruiter. I think Epik (the Korean Govt English Program in Korea) looks after Daegu.
