Okay.
The wife (Korean) is enrolled at the local college (Korean) for classes this
spring, she will be concentrating on Korean, Chinese and English classes.
She needs a laptop, she wants small a lightweight but, as much power as
possible. I want a low price.
Currently we have the HP 9000 series with 17" screen and 1.7ghz Dual
AMD processor at home, but I think that's too big for her to carry to class
and the library. I paid $750 last year.
Also is the need for Korean, English and Chinese which version Vista will
support this?
So, those who have shopped or are shopping now please supply the links
that to where you bought or what yopu are considering.
I am not asking that you do my shopping for me just some pointers and
direction, I can't always understand the Korean website and the wife
doesn't understand the techno terms. |

Just bought a new dell from Dell Korea: www.dell.co.kr
We got it in about 10 days. Total cost was 700,000 won. It came with a nice carrying bag, a mouse, and was a good deal.
Turion TL-56 1.8 chip
1 gig ram
XP Home
120 GB hard drive
DVD burner
We got the special Trulife screen, which looks a tad clearer than even my HP (which is the DV2050us) that is a smaller version of yours. The Dell Truelife screen is a bit more reflective, however. A little too much for my taste. Don't get Trulife if she plans to use it out and about.
If I were you, I'd go to Yongsan and check out the small new Compaq model. I bet she'd love it. |
