I may be buying a new laptop in the near future.
I know that Windows XP 32bit does not support large amounts of memory.
I see ads for laptops with Windows Vista Premium 32bit that have 2GB of memory.
My question is does Windows Vista 32 bit support large amounts of memory or do I do I need a version of Vista that's 64 bit???
I'd like leave the option to upgrade to 4 GB of memory if I buy one of the advertised laptops. |

All Windows OS's in 32 bit only support up to 3.4 GB's of memory. You need 64bit to go higher.
I'm sure Demophobe can help you with 64bit Vista. |
