Are you serious?!? Of all the threads to pull . . .

I don't know what caused the thread to go down, but why not just take a minute to prune any objectionable posts. This is one of the biggest stories in Korea over the past two days, and is especially relevant to us b/c two Dave's posters exposed the abusive daycare center.

Absolutely ridiculous. And inexcusable.

He was a New Zealander right. So did they actually name the guy, and were the charges bonafide. Has it made big news as well?

Could have been another big time scoop for Dave's.

It was my idea (at least as far as I know). Basically there were people coming on the site, reading it, and calling the police on their own, misrepresenting people who already had their necks on the line for this and damaging the credibility of the complaints. It turned a shiatstorm into a clusterfark and I suggested pulling the thread before the vultures got their talons all the way in.

By the way, if anyone knows a Shin Jiyoung, I'd really like to have a word with her so we can get some facts straight.

A) Calm down.

The thread you mention is here:

http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=111779&sid=867ac0150729399e2ddc72ec9b80f07d

B) Next time, instead of starting a thread about a missing thread and demanding an explanation: pm a mod and ask.

C) The thread did get post reports about it as outlined here and that is being looked at.

D) The thread was cleaned up as a result of the post report. Some people clearly have no shame.
