Does anyone know where to get repair work done on a non-Korean bought laptop? It is a Toshiba to be more specific. I've hauled it around to quite a few places now and no one can work on it. I even went to Yeoksam to the Toshiba Customer Satisfaction office. Needless to say I didn't get any satisfaction. They only told me that my lap top was not Korean bought and they could not work on it. It's second hand so I'm not trying to get any warranty work done. Any help would be appreciated.

You can find a small shop that will do it. Be careful of places that will tell you it's very expensive in order to get a deal off of you.

The Toshiba people are just being pissy because you didn't pay the premium "Korean price hike" associated with their imported product.

What exactly do you need to have done?

The power button fell off. I can still turn the computer on but it turns off at random. Sometimes after a couple hours, sometimes five minutes. In accordance with Murphy's Law, it only turns off while I am doing something important.
