Rolls of kimbab do you think you can eat before you puke. My friends and I back in Uni did this with quarter pounders from Mcd's and most of us made it to 6 or 8. My one buddy who also played football made it to 14. But he was one big SOB.

I think with the kimbab you could get down 12 or so before they came back up. I was thinking of this today when riding the bus and watching an ajumma eat one roll and the sound she was making made me want to puke.

I'd need a sauce to dip them in. Like some soy, vinegar and Chinese red chilli (la jiao jiang)/garlic sauce.

I would say one bite and it would come back out. A few years ago in university when I was studying Korean, someone brought homemade kimpop and it gave me food poisoning.

what KIND of gimbap?

tuna gimbap i'd say TWO rolls at most and I'd hurl Embarassed

fresh, nice and spicy dangcho gimbap: I've eaten four rolls no problem, so... if I could pace myself and have a drink to wash it down at times, I'd say I could polish off 10 to 12 rolls if i really wanted to try and do it

the thing is: there is actually a huge handful of rice in every roll, if you watch them make it, you can see that the final product looks like less than it actually is

That would be a big factor of how many you could eat, or rather how many the average westerner in general could eat. If they were with Koreans I would think that 90% of westerners (and those not yet desensitized to the lunch time barrage of sound) would have a problem trying to eat the food with the sound of most of the Koreans at the same table. Yuck, makes me sick...

On an aside, making such horrible sounds is a good strategy to use in an eating contest. Most people in and around those contests don't hear very much so it would be new factor for them
