I've been off this week so haven't had a chance to speak to my CTs and want to know what all the fuss is about concerning the Korean singer whose face I keep seeing all over Korean TV news reels this week.
I don't know his name, but he's a famous Korean singer aged around 50. He has a ponytail (I think) and greying hair in case you're wandering.
You've probably seen the interview as it's been showing all week on TV. It's the one where at one point he jumps up on his desk and undoes his fly.
I've no idea what the fuss is about but am curious as to what happened. I've just seen another broadcast of the interview and they showed two women on the front of a Korean newspaper. Was he having an affair or something?
Hope you can fill in the blanks for me. |

SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Yonhap) -- A popular South Korean singer chided local media Friday over recent reports alleging he committed adultery and suffered a humiliating assault from Japanese gangsters over his fling with a top actress.
Threatening to drop his trousers in front of a crowd of over 400 journalists and fans at a news conference, Na Hoon-a rebutted rumors that yakuza had him castrated after finding out he had a love affair with a South Korean actress, who was also the mistress of a gang leader. The actress has denied the rumors." |

Name is Na Huna. He disappeared early last year and all sorts of rumors started circulating about him, Kim Hyesu, and Kim Seona, yakuza, illness, missing ding-dong, etc. He held a press conference and stated that he still has his family jewels, disappeared to do some traveling for inspiration for concerts, the reporters need to lay off the two chicks, and basically gave the media the middle finger for propagating rumors.
Oh, and he has a huge head. |
