I guess I didn't realize how big a holiday the Lunar New Year was, so I was a little late in trying to find a ticket to Japan. Anyways I have talked to a couple agencies that have told me that both planes and ferries are completely booked...
So I am wondering if anyone has any bright ideas or would be willing to sell me a ticket. I am trying to get to Osaka, but anywhere in Japan would suffice. Any and all ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, |

I was in a similar situation around chuseok, we wanted to go to japan badly but didn't have anything booked. we headed to busan on a wing and a prayer hoping to get a ferry ticket to fukuoka or osaka, but tsushima was all we could get...and it was not worth it. that is an old person's island, i think we met a half dozen people there under 30 and over 17 in 3 days.
so, my advice is, if you have to settle, don't settle for tsushima. stay in busan or seoul or where ever. |

it can be done!
Last Thursday (the day after you posted) I booked a flight directly through Japan Airlines for a direct from Seoul --> Nagoya.
not sure how it has changed in the past few days, but worth a shot.
good luck! |

I looked at the Beetle website and found a few seats available on Feb. 6th but the return trip will be a headache. I did see some seats available on the 11th. Good luck. |
