A few years back (about 8 years back, actually) I came across several boxes of picture flashcards at the hogwon where I was working. The boxes were big, black, and shiny, and the cards were big and shiny as well. The pictures on the cards were real photos of people, food, etc. I have never come across such cards again and I can't seem to find them on the net either. I imagine if I did find them in Korea they would charge W50,000 at least for one set.

Ideas?

Could this be it: http://www.altaesl.com/SearchResults.cfm?Series=Lang%2DO%2DLearn%20Flashcard%20Series%20

AltaESL is great and will ship here- but those cards are WAY expensive- lots of themed sets of 20 cards each, each set is about 10 dollars. It adds up quick.

Those are nifty, but not the ones I'm referring to. The cards I'm talking about came in huge sets with 100 cards per box or something absurd like that.
