Hey guys, the power connection on my laptop is giving me troubles.
I have a new power adapter, so that's not the problem; I think it must be with the jack itself. I have to jiggle it around to get a connection, and then it still flicks in and out sometimes. (I have it set to dim the LCD when the power goes so I can tell.) Sometimes it's fine for days, and sometimes (like now) I can't even get it to work. Seems to work better if I hold the plug to the side or pull it out slightly.
Weird thing: It seems to change based on what's happening to the computer. Many many times it'll be charging just fine with the computer off, but as soon as I turn it on the connection is gone. Sometimes using the scroll wheel makes the power flick out.
So. Any ideas? What can I do to fix or improve the connection? If all else fails, anyone know where I can get it fixed? |

Just about any laptop repair place can fix it for you. The usual cost is about 20k won (I had the same problem with my laptop before XMAS).
A specific where to fix it would depend on where you are.
If you are in Seoul, there are a couple of OK repair shops in the terminal building and about 4 more at the Son-in plaza at Yongsan.

Or even more specifics on location?
Also, can they fix it while I wait or will it take a few days? |

Fixed while you wait and they all speak tech.
The only ones I know of are in the two buildings mentioned above (across the rail yard from Yongsan station). |
