| should we all just extend while we can? the window closes in march. if one were to extend now what would be the downside? |

| it's my understanding that you can only extend within 2 months of your visa expiring, but i'm not sure. |

It was one month before.
Maybe it changed to two months, but I don't think so. |

it is 2 months. My visa expired march 14th, just extended today...good til feb 2009.
note: extensions go to the end of the given contract, not one year from the extension date, which was previously debated. |
