I got my gas bill today and incredibly it's about 227,000won!
I got a feeling that something was up with the boiler ever since the hot water stopped coming out in gushes like it properly did last year. So the question is to people who have their own homes, did you ever install a new boiler and about how much was it with installation(my home is not large)? Also, I have no idea where I would go to purchase one and have it installed. Would a place like Hi-mart install one?
Thanks! |

I'd like one but I'm not going to buy one because I'm moving in a month. The problem with my boiler is inconsistancy: It goes from hot (3 minutes), to freezing (5 minutes) to lukewarm (2 minutes) to hot (3 minutes) with alarming irregularity.
But enough of my problems. The problem with your bill might be winter. Really. Gas and electricity are not sold at a fixed rate. You pay price x for a certain amount of units. After that you pay 2x for a certain amount of units. After that you pay 3x for a certain amount of units. Or something like that..
Basically if you use 50% more energy in winter your bill might go up 300%. You might want to try covering your windows with tinfoil save money. Or build an igloo in your house. |

I feel your pain, mine is 370,280 won! Yikes. It's usually like 30 bucks. I live in a box. |
