So which is it? Do you prefer to work for men or for women in Korea?

Easy, man, because usually they are more straight up. Of course there are always a huge range of exceptions. Maybe a better question is "What personality type do you prefer to work under?' rather than just genderising it.

At my first job my boss was male and the supervisor was female. They were a nightmare combo.

At my second job the principal is a female and the VP is a male. Barring a bit of cluelessness they've been wonderful to me.

My first school was a husband wife combo, never really saw the husband much, the wife did most of the day to day stuff and a lot of the interaction with the teachers. Second school run by a woman. Third school run by a guy. They all were pretty clueless most days. The current school (#3) I deal with the boss a lot, he lived/went to school in the states so he's pretty easy to deal with and handle. The first male boss was a nightmare, when he was around it was like working with an alpha male on testoterone and an inferiority complex.

I prefer working for a female boss as they are easier for me to deal with.
