McCain defeated former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in a close race in the state that snuffed out his presidential hopes eight years ago. The Arizonan was gaining 33 percent of the vote to just under 30 percent for his closest rival.

This spells trouble for Huckabee. If he can't deliver the South, he's got nothing to offer. [/b]

Hmmm...with Huckabee's star on the decline, that leaves McCain, Romney and Giuliani. (I'm not convinced Rudy is out before he even got started.)

Stay tuned for Florida (Tuesday the 29th).

And as noted, Bloomberg is looking more and more like he's going to take a shot at it.

It wouldn't suprise me in the least if Bloomberg did. Especially if the nominees were McCain vs. Clinton or Romney vs. Clinton. Personally I wouldn't support him, but it would at least make things mildly interesting.
