No one approaches them for the following reason.
They are all in the model industry and they all hang out in tight cliques. They don't bother giving the time of day to anyone else. Especially if you try to speak English to them (how many of us here realistically speak Russian or Check?) they seem to hold you in particular distain. I and friends have tried to talk to a few numerous times and they just look at you like you're below them.
I hate this ridiculous idea that Western guys only come here to get Korean women too. It's so ridiculous. I came here for travel / living abroad experience and money.

| Yeah. They're the models who hold up underwear in those infomercials. And you're right, I've never seen them hang out with anybody but the male models. There's something unapproachable about them. |

Nobody really comes here just for the women, but we often stay for them.
Stick around awhile until you meet a nice Korean girl...then see how you feel at the end of your contract.  |

I'm with you. I know western guys come here for various reason.
When it comes to models, luckily the ones i talked to speak good english.
I asked the slovenian girl if she thinks she's pretty. (I know its weird question) she said she thinks she looks normal and is considered average in slovenia which is hard to believe. It seemed she's proud of being slovenian. And she said in slovenia its usual for girls to break the beer bottle on the guys head in the bar and tried to hit me on my head with beer bottle.
I got many jealous stares from korean ajossi s sitting by me and drinking valentine. They gave us so many shots , and it finally made her shut down. I don't think they gave us drinks because of me. definately because of her. And during taking her out of the bar, also got many stares from random guys. but actually i gave her a ride to her home. and that's it ! nothing happened. I couldn't concentrate on her, because someone stole my bag in the bar. There were so many important things in the bag. I lost about 1000$ things including the bag. |

They're all models who live here in Seoul? Or are they just visiting?

The place smells like a *beep* bar on a busy night, and everyone is trying so hard to be aloof and cool that they wouldn't know a good time if it smacked them on the head.
Wasn't impressed. |

| Spy is a great place, can't wait to hit it up when I get back to Korea. Always had fun there. Yeah for sure there are loads of posers but lots of cool people too and an easy place to hook up in from time to time. Few princesses lurking definitely. If you offer a girl a drink and she asks for the Long Island Tea tell her to get bent.( 15,000 or something crazy like that if I remember correctly). |

There are definitely some gorgeous women there. Problem is the music is so loud that I couldn't have a conversation about anything with anyone.

| Those girls only go there because they get free booze for the owners. Really. They get paid next to nothing to model here in korea. Funny how they act like they are all that......when they really have nothing. English teachers make more then them. I think Spy feels like an after hours Juicy/ buisness bar. All the local hookers go there after their bars close. It's a shit hole! When my mates mention they are going to spy, I go to H.Wood or go home. |
