I sold my car on ebay a month ago for 3000$ and I just got an email from their complaint center saying that the guy wants 6000$ dollars from me to fix a bunch of repairs.

not that that has to do with anything

I need to sell my car back home too and thought about eBay. Did you list it in "as is" condition? You shouldn't have to repair anything if you did. Plus, he has had the car for awhile now, so who knows what has happened to it since you sold it. Let me know what happens so I can decide to sell on eBay or not.

oh yeah, the guy is a total lunatic. i cant imagine he will get anywhere with this. if he got his way, he would get the car for free (96 audi) and id pay him 3000$ on top of it. he actually took the car from connecticut and drove it to georgia, which should be proof enough there was nothing wrong with it. just be aware of people trying to swindle money making ridiculous claims.
