Huh?

Walked home without a sweater tonight. And the stars and moon are out.

Must be a 10 degrees difference between here in the southernmost area and thereabouts.

We were on Wolchusan yesterday (Sunday) when the first snow came...

...mmm... Very Happy

First snow on Wolchulsan, the Koreans say, the time when lovers promise many things... fidelity, commitment to meeting again on the next first snow, swanky new cellphones?

Ahh that precious first snow. Hope you were all with your loved ones on this auspicious day.

The first SNOW STORM + THUNDER + LIGHTNING show I can recall seeing. We are impressed.

There has been NO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC whatsoever up the slippery mountain slopes to the Escarpment for well over an hour. Maybe 2 hours. NONE. Cannot even see people hiking up or adventuresome thrill-seekers clinging for dear life to craggy outcroppings. Not even those. So glad I didn't dawdle on my way home. Even more glad I have a wicked supply of liquor and old movies.

Is the Guru cut off from civilisation?!

NO! Civilisation is cut off from the Guru! I shall pray for your safety and survival.

Wow, thunder snow storm is a really interesting weather phenomenon. I always thought that was possible as I heard stories of winter tornadoes in the midwest USA, though so extremely rare there are no real documentation. I think thunder snow would be cool and I think it's now Winter. I knew it was all of a sudden Winter when the cold winds blew Saturday afternoon and then turned brutally bone chilling on Sunday. Wow was it cold yesterday on the mountain hike. I went home and then nursed the air heater like I am doing now since my ondol is not producing heat.

Yeah, I was too busy going, "What the hell? Is that even possible without the return of Mohammad or Jesus?" to think to grab the camera and try and catch it.

And now it's all melted away
