Quick little question...
Who do you contact about possible health code violations at your hagwon?
Think I know why I got sick at my job... |

Yeah, there are a few of those violations too.
No flashlights in the classrooms, no emergency exit, only two or three fire extinguishers...
It's utter crap. |

Where do you report? You don't!!
Do Koreans report the red light runners, suicidal bus drivers, scooter delivery guys, corrupt cops. NO! There's a good reason why they don't.
When will people here learn, don't rock the boat, keep a low profile and blend in.
Making the world a better place does not apply to Korea. |

Unless you're reporting that a foreigners' bar in Itaewon has expired pepper, they won't do anything.

Yup. Pagoda would get a visit every now and then because someone would complain about the locked fire exit in the basement (teachers' room). Pagoda would get fined, keep the fire door open for a few days then go right back to locking it. Until the next time someone called in a complaint. |

To be a troll I'd have to not expect a serious response, now wouldn't I?
I am serious however. A few of my co-workers and I have gotten similar illnesses all at the same time and I think it has to do with something the school has neglected in terms of cleaning. My doctor agrees... |

What? the 5month old kimchi in the fridge infected your food? The toilets haven't been cleaned since you started at the hagwon (you're on your third renewal)? maybe it's the lack TP in those restrooms and the addition of one once-upon-a-time-white-now-brown hand towel in said bathroom? is there a build up of loogey gaining sentience at the front of your hagwon director's door?
Health care violations are taken as seriously as the ajoshi taking a leak on anything |
