Just sold something to a guy through facebook and waiting for the transfer to go through into my account. When the money is in my account I will send the item off to him. Is it at all possible to reverse the transfer after it has already appeared in my account? I know in the UK there is a cheque scam and just want to cover my bases before I send the thing off. Better safe then sorry!

| If they want to reverse it, they are going to have to do it PDQ - why don't you just go and withdraw the money tomorrow, then put it back in later? |

| Banks will not reverse wire transfers unless there is some kind of error involved (i.e. the money was sent to a wrong account). It's a very difficult process and doesn't happen overnight so you don't have to worry about the money disappearing from your account overnight. But I agree with the advice above, just withdraw the money. |
