My uni just informed me that there are no classes on April 9th because of
senate elections or voting day or some thing like that.


This should pertain to most universities (and perhaps public schools) in Korea

Yep same for PS. Also 25th June which I think is for something electoral as well.

Not to mention 3rd May - 12th May. The whole of that time is holiday as well.

That's for EPIK. 5th May and 12th May are national holidays anyway. My PS is taking the whole time off.

Anybody else get that May holiday off? My school says I have to teach 3rd graders, SOBs. Do just EPIKers get it off or is it up to the individual schools?
