A woman on the subway just told me to turn down my ipod.

Want to know what I did? Do you?

I turned it up.

Go me.

What are you expecting, a round of applause and a pat on the back?

How old are you anyway, twelve? Rolling Eyes

Understandable if if someone wants a little bit of peace and quiet...To be fair i prefer it when someone is listening to music and I can't hear their music...

Way to give foreigners a bad name again. Fact is most people don't wanna listen to your music either. I especially hated being in the library and being able to hear some douchebag's music. Try to act like an adult next time instead of a 12 year old.

Ipod + headphones = perfectly acceptable way to listen to music in public.

I spend a gagillion years on the subway each day listening to the sellers, the beggars, the drunks, the weirdos, the approach a foreigner just for the fun of it people, and have thus far let is alllllllllllllllllllllll sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiide. I suppose it's something about the subway being PUBLIC TRANSPORT. It's not a lark in the meadows any which way you look at it, so if something bothers you, move along, or get over it.

Meh, to you and you and you.

I am on the subway for 3 hours each day to and from work, I usually read a book or occasionally watch a movie (with headphones) on a portable DVD player. Let me tell you, there is nothing more annoying than someone sitting next to with an MP3 so loud I can hear the lyrics of the song. If you want to listen to it, great!! The others on the train and I do not. Just turn it down to a reasonable level and everyone is happy!!!

Yes yes yes, I'm 12 years old

It wasn't loud in the least ,until she kept poking me. Since my ignore fest didn't work, I turned it up. I had one more stop. SHE had one more stop. Not a big deal.

I'm perfectly lovely actually, and do no such thing as give a bad name. So seriously, calm down now love.

This reminds me of that freak who was trying to give his unnamed STD to as many Korean girls as possible because of something his employer did. Only this time instead of STDs it's annoying sounds from crappy earphones with the volume on too high.
