				| To make a long story short: I would never have made my flight if it hadn't been for the over-the-top, exceptional help I got from a manager at Busan International Airport. She took it upon herself to straighten out some major problems I had. Had it not been for the combined help of this manager, the immigration staff, and the staff of Asian Airlines (who I didn't even do business with), I would have been stuck past my visa expiration date, would have had to wait another week to get a flight, and would have a myriad of other problems. I doubt I would have received service like that at home.
 Way to go!

				| I can add a related story.
Me, my daughter & her fiance, & my son & his girlfriend flew down to Busan from Gangneung one long Chuseok weekend & had way much fun. My future son-in-law, in charge of the tickets, got the return flight time wrong. We straggled up to check-in well hung-over one minute prior to take-off.

The look on the girl's face at the Asiana counter was priceless -- first shock, then determination. Frantic calls went out -- "Hold that plane!" We got raced way out onto the runway & they had to reopen the doors. The last 5 empty seats were scattered throughout the plane but we made it. The son-in-law who screwed up even got bumped to business class.

 Thats service!

Korean airports, in my experience, are so easy (& fun) to deal with.

				| I too have had nothing but good experiences at Korean airports. Friendly, courteous and efficient service, spotlessly clean facilities and just an atmosphere of well-run modernity. | |
