La Plancha in Itaewon. Good set menus and lunch specials. Not sure if they offer Paella though. |

Gecko's Garden (the one on Restaurant Row behind the Hamilton Hotel, not the one across from the Coffee Bean) has paella. I've had it a few times. It's not much like what I ate in Spain but it's pretty decent, especially when accompanied by several of their frozen kiwi margaritas.
There is (or used to be; I haven't been back recently) a paella place in the Hyundai department store food court next to COEX. I never got around to trying it but I was pleasantly amazed to see it there.
The other places I know fall into the category of 'I could find them again but I couldn't possibly tell you how to get there,' unfortunately. |

I do NOT like the Paella there. I am really picky since I was born and raised in Spain. The Paella was really good in "El Plato" in Hongdae, but the last time I went it was completely different, so I don't know if they changed owners or cooks or something. |

Is El Plato the Mexican restaurant on the second floor of a building kind of near the Hongik main gate? |

No El Plato is a Spanish (not Mexican) restaurant closer to Sangsu station by the Gr8 Hookah bar, up that alleyway. |
