Anyone else getting any virus notifications from trying to read Dave's lately? Every time I open a thread, not the forums or PMs, only threads, Avast kicks up a Virus Alert about some malware and terminates the connection.

Kind of annoying, but I'll survive I guess. Just wondering.

Yes, I always get the small yellow warning triangle when I use one of the Korean PCs at work. There is also writing which says it is an infected pagee in Hangul.
With my old IBM laptop I reguarly use, it cuts me of form the internet when I make a post.
It won't reconnect until I run the V4 virus scanner thing.

A bit annoying if you write a complex relpy, then lose it and can't be bothered to write it again.

At home everything is OK.

Note to self: Keep relpies short and useful.

New update....

On the Avast forums, they know about this and they say that it's an obvious false alarm where Avast is just overly sensitive and they're gonna fix it ASAP.

Yeah, that just happened to me for the first time this morning on my PC. I'm running Avast on it as well. I'm glad to know that it is a false alarm and a fix is in the works. I'm using my laptop, which has different virus protection on it, now, and there are no warnings about a virus or a trojan. I really must be an Avast thing. Thanks for the info!
