I play contrabass and I'm looking for a volunteer community orchestra with which to play here in Seoul. I live north of downtown. I know back in Virginia, we had quite a few community orchestras, but I'm having a hard time finding a group of like minded people, Koreans, foreigners, white, purple, green, anyone that can and likes to play orchestral music????? My bow's gettin' rusty and I'm tired of practicing alone and not being able to play any real orchestral literature with an actual ensemble. ANYONE OUT THERE????

I'm feeling the same itch for a band (saxophonist). Sadly, I have no info to impart.
