Funny I was thinking about that stuff lately. It used to be the "chic" thing to have in any decent (sort of) restaurant but you never really hear of it anymore.
I almost started a thread "whatever happened to French onion soup"?
I guess I'm saying I have nothing useful to add. --- sorry..

TGI Friday's has a small bowl for 3,800. It's not awful. |

Tony Roma's also has french onion soup. It's really not at all bad. I'm half french Canadian, lived in quebec, and was raised on the stuff. My Korean GF really likes it too. One of the few foreign foods she actually goes out of her way to order. |
