Hi seasoned Thailand Visitors! .. I will go to Thailand for the first time next week and arrive a few hours before the rest of my party (at 5pm). I'll go back to meet them at the airport around midnight.. They are flying in from the states and will be lagged, I'm sure..Since I have to go back to the airport, I don't want to stay too far from it for that first night.. Is there such a thing as reasonable (clean and comfortable) accomodations near the BKK airport? I'd spend a bit more for that first night, but not much over $60... Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated.. |

I've stayed in a twin air con room at Sananwan Palace at Ban Phli, & it was good. Print out a Thai version of the map, too, from the above website, as the airport taxi drivers had difficulty finding the place.
Consider also:
1. Grand Inn Come Hotel, Kingkaew Road, Rachataeva, Bangplee, Samut Prakarn 10540 about Baht 1000 and about 20 mins or 200 baht in a taxi. |
