I will be going back home for a few months and am wondering when it is best to come back. I've heard that September is a good hiring period, but what about the last months of the year? |

Depends what you are looking for. As you know hogwans hire year round. However, you can land a public school or university position in August or September due to the start of the new semester. Some teachers go on vacation and never return, so schools become desperate. However as you know, December through February are the golden months to look for work because schools are looking for teachers to start at the beginning of the new year. |

There are a number of positions that are never filled in time. You can always count on there being ways too many openings for the number of people applying, but the selection of good jobs will obviously be gone. |

Though Busan and Seoul positions are often filled, you can land a p.s job anytime, especially with the new regs limiting applicants |
