Hey guys,
I'm looking for a job in Busan but am getting a bit freaked out by all the horror stories I am reading on the net about schools and don't know which recruiters are reputable and which are not.
I was just wondering if any of you are currently working in Busan and know of a good job opening?
I would prefer to be living in the city and teach adults or college students but realize that I can't be that picky and will be more that willing to teach kids.
I have almost 2 years experience teaching in Japan and will be available to work as soon as a visa is sorted.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions or recommendations. |

Hey guys,
My advice is to post on Pusanweb. You'll definitely get offers.
Good luck

You could try EPIK and apply for Pusan that way(if it's not already too late). If you do, make Pusan your first preference and mail directly to the Provincial Office supervisor whose name and email you'll find on the EPIK site. Send hard copy to that person, it may help. Others who got jobs applied in person than attended the orientation.
Pusan is popular because they seem to take good care of their teachers I've heard(apartments especially; oven, bathtub).
If you go this route, don't leave the applying to the person at the consulate in your home-country. If they wait for all applications to come in, someone else will get that Pusan plum.
My 2 wons worth. |
