I would like to try to take the computer home with me, because it's better than the one I have there. But if I can get the right price, I'll sell it. If I do end up taking it home, the speakers, keyboard/mouse, power supply, and maybe the case and monitor (I would like to try to get the monitor home too) will be for sale separately. I'M GONE!
Motherboard: Asus P5B-E
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 / 2.13 GHz / 1066 MHz FSB / 4MB L2 Cache
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 250G (16MB)
1 Gig ram (2 512MB DDR2 SDRAM) (4 slots total available for 8G capacity)
GE Force 6200 256MB
Samsung SH-S182M DVD+-RW drive with Lightscribe (can put graphics on cd's and DVD's after you burn them. Must use Lightscribe capable disks for that. You can use any disks just to burn.)
Legit Windows XP Home (SP 2) disc: ENGLISH!!
LG L204WT / 20.1 inch widescreen LCD monitor
Creative Inspire M2600 speakers
i-rocks wireless keyboard and mouse (original cost: 48,000 won)
Fly (brand) case with firewire port in front for easy video transfer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I paid a little over a million won on April 28/29, 2007
If you buy the computer you can have the desk too.
I live in Anyang, near Beomgye Station (Line 4)
Let me hear some offers. I'll take offers until 9:00pm on Thursday, Jan 31. Best offer above 600,000 won gets it, and you can take it home on Friday (that's my last full day here). How does that sound? If I don't get anything above that, I'll just take it home. I'll wipe the drive using WipeDrive, and you can start fresh with the Windows XP disk.
If I do take it home:
Speakers: 15,000 won
Keyboard/mouse: 20,000 won
Power Supply (400 watts: 1st Power / Aqua): 10,000 won
Monitor: 160,000 won, unless I think I can get that home too, or if someone offers something better.
That is a pretty fair asking price for what is included (ie Legit English XP). If I didn't already have a nice desktop, I would consider it. The short pickup time might be a hinderence with you being in Ansan. Regardless, good luck with the sell! |
a good way to package your monitor is to take a flat piece of cardbord and cover the screen, taping the cardboard over the LCD panel. Then pack in the middle of a suitcase with lots of padding from other articles you are taking home.
This works well for me and I have done this three times. |
