| Does anyone know if it is a requirement if you are in SK to return to USA prior to 365 days so as to avoid problems..did not go back for vacation in two years..always went to Japan for runs.., etc. |

As long as you are a citizen there is NO requirement for you to physically return anytime.
You are required to file your taxes with the IRS annually.
As long as your status of sojourn is current there is no reason to leave Korea. |

OP- Are you a Kyopo? Then get ready to visit Guam over and over again to keep your green card active. |

Noper...U.S. citizen.
I knew if you were a green card holder you could not be out of country more than 364 days..but was not sure about U.S. citizens
