Hi, I know this must've come up before, but I can't get the search feature to do anything for me.....so, risking the embarrasment of people posting links I will ask anyways...
How should I take money to China...(i'll be going to Beijing and Shanghai) It's too late for me to send money to my US account so that's not an option. Should I just bring Korean cash? any advice? (i'm going for 9 days)

Buy a thousand yuan at the airport before you leave here and take $US and exchange them there.

If you are going next week, buy 5,000 yuan here before you go because exchange services will NOT be widely available over the holiday (banks will be closed) and the exchange rate at hotels varies from bad to atrocious.

You will probably NOT be able to exchange won in China.
