My present contract will expire May 31st but my ARC is valid until June 15th. I don't know why Immigration made my ARC valid 15 days longer than the actual employment contract.

Question: Can I renew my contract with the same hagwon by March 15th?

If anyone knows, please advise as I get different answers from different people.

They will USUALLY only renew you during the last 60 days of your ARC.

They were renewing teachers as much as 75 days early just before the initial Dec. 15 deadline.

With the new regs, who knows what they may or may not let you do.

Thanks for the info.

Wasn't an 80% completion of the present contract a conditions to visa renewal or change of employer?
