Isn't this a sexy topic haha.
I've been finding the weather this winter EXTREMELY dry. Combine that with my cold and excessive nose blowing, I feel as though I'm in dire need of a nasal moisturizer. At home I know I could buy something called Secaris, which you could put on a Q-tip and shove up inside to moisturize the inside of your nose. Is there anything like this in Korea? Don't say Otrivin, cause that is medicated and actually dries it out more. I fear if I wait much longer, I'll be due for a massive nosebleed.
Sorry for the gross and graphic topic, but any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

Getting a humidifier and sleeping with it close to your face might help. I did that.
Direct the air away from your bed though because, and here's the really mindblowing thing that apparently I couldn't fathom until much too late in the day, water makes pillows wet. |

I don't have the link now, but someone recently posted a thing where you pour this liquid into one of your nostrils and it comes out the other side, I guess the solution (which you can make yourself) is pretty effective. The thing looks like a miniature teapot. Someone should post it here, just be patient...I know someone has to know the name and will be able to post a link. |

Superfly is talking about a Netti Pot, as featured on Opera. Many clips on youtube and in Google.
I suffer from a dust mite allergy which often leaves me with a runny nose and at worst a sneezng fit.
We just bought a battery powered nasal mist wash for about 50K. Works good as well, but you could even try opening the top of your kettle after it has boiled and inhaling the steam up your nose.
This really works too, although how close you get to the kettle depends on the time since the kettle was boiled. Start about 40cm above and you should get some mist OK.
Wearing one of those paper masks helps no end if you are out in the cold air. |

Coating a small area right inside your nostrils with Vaseline might help, too. |

Hi SeoulShakin,
I found the Korean version of the cream you were looking for. It is called Rhinaris (리나리스). It can help relieve your symptoms, but it won't get rid of the problem. If you start to get nose bleeds I would recommend visiting an oriental medical doctor who specializes in ENT. Western Medicine can do very little in the case of these types of chronic problems.
If you'd like a referral to a ENT Oriental Medical Doctor, I can recommend one.
Hope you feel better.
