mosquito repellant

stick deodorant

cotton clothes

a bandana - doubles as a towel, washrag, etc. or tie it over your face if on a dusty ride in cambodia/scooter in vietnam

small combo locks for your bags -ALL your bags - don't buy any bag you can't put a lock on - if nothing else - remember it's a deterrent - they'll leave yours alone and go for another one that's unlocked

a pocket knife of some sort - i never travel w/o my swiss army knife - you can buy fruit or veges and wash them and eat them - help stave off bad vibes from eating in restaurants all the time - can open a beer with the opener - you'd be surprised how handy a pocketknife is

but then, i was a girl scout - and we're always prepared Cool
