Sanbon reminds me of Bundang but much smaller. It's clean, modern and on the outskirts of Seoul. I'm working in a public school in Uiwang but live in Gunpo about 10 mins from Sanbon. In my opinion it's not a bad place to live. Downtown Sanbon is pretty compact and has an E-mart and all your western fast food places if you need a burger/pizza fix every once in a while. |

Ah. Didn't read your question properly. I'm on a standard GEPIK contract which aint so good but if your contract is with Gunpo City I think you get between 4-6 weeks vacation each year depending on your school. As far as I know teachers employed directly by Gunpo have to do an English cafe in blocks of 6 weeks, one evening each week. I'd take a Gunpo contract over a GEPIK contract any day. |
