Ann Coulter does not make any sense to me. And if the far right fears and hates McCain more than they fear and hate the Clintons, the Republican Party is in for major turbulence in the next few months.
Let us hope that Coulter is not so representative. |

Gopher,
I think very possibly she needs to be checked into the same place Britney Spears is being held. They both must be sniffing the same kind of glue. |

That is one of the most peculiar political things I've ever seen. I know the far right hates McCain, but--if Coulter is representative--they hate him even more than Senator Clinton. I know apostacy raises deep ire, but THAT much?
I know she says deliberately outrageous things to get noticed and make headlines, but this seems pretty far out. |

Well it makes me feel that much better about supporting McCain. The less I have in common with Ann Coulter the better. |

This makes my argument about Clinton being Republican lite for me. Thank you Ann Coulter. |

I'm no fan of Fox News, but you have to admit the look on Colmes face during the interview was pretty funny. |

Amazing.
What I don't get is that would mean she likes what other Republicans? She doesn't mention the other ones, she just says she'd support any one of them except for McCain.
I don't think she'd be a Huckabee supporter. So is she for Romney then? Hmm. |

TB,
Good question, I guess so. I think you are right, Huckabee would be way to liberal. A better question might be did AC forget to take her medication before doing that interview?
Like I said before, I think she should join Britney in the hospital. |

I think she really believes that Hillary is smarter and more acceptable to neoconservatives than McCain is and would do a better job managing the economy. |

John McCain has:
1. Rallied against bloated government and has tried to keep govt spending under control.
2. Never voted for a tax increase; he only voted against the 2002 tax cuts because he felt that reigning in govt. spending should take priority.
3. Always supported free trade.
4. Always supported the troops and their missions in the Middle East.
5. Always voted pro-life.
6. Voted with the NRA.
I don't get Ann Coulter and what she is saying. These are positions that conservatives have always supported. Hillary, on the other hand, would expand the size of government, go along with Charlie Rangel's 1.33 Trillion Dollar Tax increase, has questioned NAFTA and has always voted in favor of pro-choice and gun control(*cough* criminal welfare).
Seriously, what is Ann on about? Unless she secretly wants to increase the size of government, another big-government neo-conservative

The hatred of McCain by conservative websites and commentators is really puzzling to liberals. I mean, the man is somewhat to the left of the GOP on some issues, but as Pluto points out, McCain most definitely is a conservative. He usually gets 80+ ratings from conservative lobbying groups. Hillary gets 90+ ratings from liberal interest groups!
Personally? I think all of this "stop McCain" stuff is just a tantrum. If he's the nominee, Coulter, Limbaugh, redstate.com and all the rest will fall in line. There is no realistic chance of any conservative voting for Hillary over McCain. |

This is just Coulter's way of discrediting both Hillary and Mac. |
