One phony "debate" i know i ain't gonna be watching ... Confused

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/12/31/debate.limits.ap/index.html?section=cnn_latest

Will Ron Paul Be Excluded From Sunday's Debate?
There seems to be a debate going on between Fox News and New Hampshire Republicans over precisely who will participate in this weekend's presidential debate.

Rumor has it that online fundraising sensation and Texas congressman Ron Paul and San Diego congressman Duncan Hunter will be excluded because their N.H. poll numbers are not in double digits, although Paul's fourth quarter fundraising numbers were way into double digits, nearing $20 million, according to his website. In the first 240 minutes of the new year, nearly $11,000 more came in.

Over the weekend a Fox News spokeswoman told Top of the Ticket that the New Hampshire Republican Party was making the choice of candidates to participate in the televised GOP presidential debate on Jan. 6 with Chris Wallace moderating. She even provided the chairman's e-mail: [email protected] to confirm that.

Alas, the chairman never responded to us.

Then, on Monday, that state party chair, Fergus Cullen, issued a statement saying that limiting candidates was not in the party's tradition, suggesting the media should not be in the ... business of excluding serious candidates and talks were continuing with Fox.

So whose decision is it?

Understandably, neither side apparently wants to incur the online wrath of Paul's passionate parishioners, who scour the Internet around the clock and descend like locusts on any opportunity to praise Paul or right perceived wrongs on any website or blog they can find.

If word got out that Fox/News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch's e-mail was [email protected], his mailbox would be full in a flash.

MORE ... Confused

I disagree.

In fact:

ALL RON PAUL SUPPORTERS SHOULD BOYCOTT PHONY TV "DEBATES" WHICH EXCLUDE HIM.

VOTE WITH YOUR REMOTES!

why? it is the duty of citizens of the republic to be well informed. you think paul was gonna get the nomination? snap out of it. we must observe how his planks are incorporated into other folks platforms.

look at the wobblies. they got shut down, but huge chunks of their agenda were incorporated into mainstream political thought.

yeah boycott fox and her sponsors forever. i've been doing such for years. but do not do such to your detriment.

shouldn't we observe who picks up the most paul pieces? to beat your enemy you must know your enemy.

Here is the response I got from TeamOne Lending, a Fox News sponsor:

Thank you for your email. I was not aware of the boycott...I am a registered Republican and I have read about Dr. Paul. I am impressed with his stance. I will look more into the situation. Thanks again and God bless.

See you at the top,

It's an act of desperation by a network which is no longer relevant.
Email, call, and put your money where your mouth is.

This is distugusting and yet another example of America descending into tyranny without the general masses realising it.

Yeah, I saw that on MSNBC too. If people like Tom Tencredo and Pat Buchanan are saying these things, then Ron Paul might be the dark horse in the Iowa and NH races. Paul and his supporters have amassed huge amounts of cash and put together a huge grass-roots push. I've no doubt that RP will have some success with all of the Internet and guerrilla marketing going on. Yet the fact still remains, RP only has single digit support as of now.
Therefore, Ron Paul's chances of the Republican nomination are still extremely small. However, that being said, a victory for the REVOlution need not be the office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

contracts 1973: I am a huge free speech advocate, but linking a porn site without a proper "NSFW" message crosses a huge line. Are you by chance Kevin Gesler?

Back to the topic at hand, if you don't watch the debate, the only way you can harm the networks is by getting lots of people to not watch it, or simply watch it on the Internet, so networks lose advertising dollars.

In that clip, Buchanan says people 'from all over the country' are flocking in to attend caucuses. Does he mean non-citizens of Iowa? If that is true, it would be voter fraud of the first order.
