Both these guys work Myeong Dong in addition to the stationary preachers. I wonder what they do when they meet. Do they sit down to some soju and compare notes on battery weight? Do they make up fish tales about the crazy numbers of souls they've saved? Or maybe they are rivals?

Thank Xenu they don't get onto the subway with those megaphones.

Korea could really use a Hyde Park style of Speakers' Corner into which they could all be quarantined.

If it's a competition, then the first guy wins hands down.

He's turned a poster into a hat, he's got writing on his shirt, and he's painted his megaphone red, the same color as the lake of fire that all who ignore him will be cast into. That takes creativity. He's making an effort.

The second guy ...

... just has a sash tucked into his belt. He doesn't take pride in his work. He needs to take his job more seriously. Eternal souls are on the line.

The one that really wins is the guy in Jongro I see all the time with his entire family. Like Momma Duck followed by her string of duckling, the dad leads his wife and three kids through the streets carrying their back-breaking signs. Littlest kids can't be more than 8 or 9 years old.

You're absolutely right. This guy's thinking, "I've got all this extra room up here on my head, so how can I best capitalise on it in the name of the Lord?"

I agree. The first guy still looks like he hasn't quite lost the dream.

I like the second guy better. He has more 'homely' appeal.

Okay. Who knows Hanja?

I like the second guy, he has two mounted speakers pointing in either direction, very efficient not very Korean. He also has two signs in English then if none of that works, did you spot the explosive vest?

Regardless, and not to detract from any of the points made by previous posters, I've gotta give mad props out to these guys for trying their hardest to spread awareness about Jesus Christ.

If only any of you loved something, anything enough to proclaim it with that much conviction.

it's not a good shot of the second guy, it looks like he had one too many soju drinks (which he might have thought was the blood of christ).

As a Christian Demophobe why are you revering these 'false prophets'?
