I haven't seen any new news about the Koreans fielding a unified Olympic team since I last read it in a few different news sources last November, for example here: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/02/international/asia/02korea.html

Has anyone seen any more recent news?

I am interested in how this merge will affect my own sport as the aftermath may increase the US's chances of having an additional athlete qualify for the games.
