Now I like Microsoft. I like it's OS. I like Office. I've never been happy, though, with its internet approach. I've always hated IE. I don't much like MSN messenger and always liked Yahoo (fewer bells and whistles) but I kinda got to live with MSN messenger. I don't like hotmail. The only useful thing about hotmail was you could use it like a POP account with Outlook but they got rid of that option.

I like Yahoo mail. I like their my.yahoo page and use that as my homepage for my browser. I have been using gmail a lot lately, mostly because when it was in beta I got some cool screen names and I like the vast storage. And my yahoo account is getting flooded with a lot of spam. I used to really like Yahoo's internet directory back when links were added by humans. It was a great way of getting really relevant links.

But if MSFT takes them over, I think I'm going to switch over to google for my start up page. For starters.

Anyway, I think I will largely give up on yahoo if MS takes them over.

I'll take a wait and see approach. I don't like the new My Yahoo Beta page. If they force me to change from my current set up, I'll definitely look for other options. As long as I can retain my current My Yahoo set up, I'll stick with it.

As long as they don't mess around with Yahoo! Games' "Word Racer," I'll be okay.
