|
|
Seems like I should at least buy some sort of sound card, rather than go with the onboard sound. Then I'll have the option of using phones and a mic if I really want to geek out on some multiplayer games. What should I get that will suffice without spending too much?
Also, I have some Britz speakers right now which worked quite well when they were new...but now they seem sorta sucky and lame...the sound quality is about as bad as my TV. Any suggestions? |

I would wait and see what the inboard sound is like with the motherboard you get. They're rarely as good as a dedicated soundcard but they are often acceptable. You should be able to use a mic and headphones set with a regular motherboard.
I'm not sure about speakers nowadays as I'm only allowed headphones. It's a long story. Suffice to say soju and the police were involved!! |

I take it your neighbors never developed an appreciation for Van Morrison? That's a pity. |
