I am wanting to come to Korea to work and I notce that some of the new regulatons include a health check. I have schizophrenia which is under control because of medication and would like to know whether I would pass the check. I have worked in Korea in 2006 when they weren't wanting people to pass health checks and I was fine while I had schizophrenia, as long as I had my medication. Does anybody think I would pass te health check? I think that it is a bit discriminatory to single out people just because they have a mental llness. |

You will pass as long as you are willing to commit visa fraud.
There is a question on both the medical questionnaire and the medical itself:
Have you ever been treated for a mental illness?
If you answer yes you will be denied.
If you answer no you will be accepted BUT have committed visa fraud. If it is discovered you will be in hot water.
The choice and risk are yours to make.
