Hello all,
Does anyone know how long it takes to process the visa issuance number at Korean Immigration? I heard it was about a week. If you've heard anything different, I'd like to know. Thanks in advance. |

It typically takes 4-10 working days from the date of application at the immigration office until the date of issuance for the "visa issuance number" if they have all the required documents and everything is in order.
Note that there may be delays by your school or recruiter getting the documents to immigration as well. |

Thanks a bunch guys. I only hope it takes a week, but given the situation and the amount of paperwork, . |

The Uijeongbu Immigration Office took less than a week to process mine. (Documents submitted to the office January 30th, number issued February 5th) |

I'll make a note of that to my employer. I think Daejeon Immi is closer to him. But whatever's quicker! Thanks for the note. |
