Hi, I'm going for EPIK, SMOE, or other job in Korea after graduating in may and need some help.

--I'm a young guy and naturally curious if the nightlife in korea is great or just in seoul...which other cities have decent night life? Is it very expensive or pretty cheap(cover/drink-wise)?

--I'm also interested in DJ'ing, provided your good, how hard would it be for a foriegner to get a gig? Any bias, or would it be helpful?

--EPIK pays higher if you don't live in a city....would it be worth the pay raise(+200-500 a month) to choose a provincial option and then commute to the city for fun? I'd love to live in the city, but don't mind taking a 30-60 minute train there on a regular basis. Are trains like this cheap?

--How well can one live on a salary of 1.9k -2.3k dollars a month in korea? I probaly plan to save/pay off loans 800 dollars a month. I can cook my own food to save money too.

Lastly...any places I should avoid or just suck to live in for a young guy(ie: boring places)?

The questions of yours that I did not quote have been done to death and you can find millions of answers if you peruse for a bit. If you don't peruse, this site is at most useless and at least massively untrustworthy.

As for your first question, you won't find nightlife on par with that of big Western cities anywhere in Korea, but if you can get down with booking clubs, soju tents, overpriced clubs and an electronic music scene consisting of generic trance music, you should enjoy yourself. I don't know exactly what kind of nightlife you're looking for, but if you'd be more specific I could give you some help in this department.

As far as DJing goes, you can find gigs very easily, but payment will be an issue since it's illegal for you to work as a DJ in Korea (assuming you're gonna be on an E-2 visa.). I know lots of people who have DJ'd and received drinks and 노란 꼬리 as payment.

I'd say, from the sound of your post, that you should live in Seoul or Busan. The extra money isn't worth it if you're gonna wanna come to Seoul all the time.
