I'm from Canada, and apparently I"m addicted to chess.
When I get to South Korea am I going to find opportunities to play or will I have to do it all online?
Do Koreans like chess? |

Me..going on 10 years.
Koreans usually play "Chinese chess" I forget the name or pa-dook (you'd know it as Go. If you're interested in Go that'd be the game to learn. They actually have schools for it.
I'd suggest teaching your students how to play chess. Don't expect any good matches though. |

When I first got here the pizza guy tried to teach it to me. I didn't like it though.
I did play go for a while, but me playing Koreans at Go is like them playing you at chess. They slaughtered me.
I got into martial arts and women instead;) |

I have been playing Badook for about 3 years now. Best game ever, but it takes a lot of time to get to the point of not sucking. |

I tried to play when I first got here, but the guy teaching me got frustrated easily. It just wasn't fun for me. I got him into drinking and playing cards instead(at the same time). |
