Any of you use a floor mat for a bed? I don't, but am thinking it might be better the the 9 year-old's bed my school set me up with. Do you prefer it. |

I think it's a really great concept, but with the kind of back pain I have, it hurts a lot.
However, I found that sitting on the floor to use the computer (on a low table) was much worse for my back than sleeping on the floor.
If you don't have serious back problems, it might be much better than a crappy bed. |

I've been using one for about three years now. My first few years here I slept on western style beds, but found them too lumpy. Floor mats are also nice in winter with a heated floor. Should I ever go back to my home country, I'll sleep on the floor there too. |

Sleeping on a yo (floor bed) is actually better for your back than a mattress, although the adjustment time is certainly painful. |

I did for the first two years I was here. Took me about a month to adjust, but now even after going back to a western mattress for over a year, I can spend a night or two on the floor here and there without a problem. |

I figure it'd be better for my back, and having the heated floor is also nice. I'm just pausing before I ask my school to actually take my bed away, though that'd be no big loss. |

I sleep on the floor willingly at times, good for my back. And there's heated floors here. |

I started sleeping on the floor because my western style bed was pretty awful. I think it's more comfortable and better for my back.
I'm actually thinking of upgrading my mat. Does anyone have any recommendations for where to get a deal on a good quality yo? |
